Originally Sound Bath

Hosted by Laura Babb a mindfulness teacher, sound meditation practitioner, community builder, trainee counsellor, and founder of The Clear Space.

Soul Circle is a place to connect. Connect with yourself, connect with community, and connect with the space to step outside of your day-to-day life so that you can really listen in and honour yourself. It’s hard to describe the magic of being in circle; you have to experience it.

We have a regular Soul Circles at Space on the last Sunday of each month.

29th January 2023

What do we need to leave behind in 2022 and what energy do we wish to connect with in 2023?

January’s circle will be a reflective and grounding space, where you can lean into this brand-new year.

26th February 2023

In February the full moon is known as the Snow Moon, while we won’t be gathering at the time of the full moon, we will be exploring the idea of embracing the stillness of the cold and dark of this month.

February’s circle will involve a pilgrimage under the cover of darkness, to connect with the cold and dark and embrace it.

26th March 2023

March’s circle will connect with the energy of the Spring Equinox. This is a time of hope and new beginnings, as the world emerges from its slumber.

This circle will celebrate joy and childlike wonder. What happens when you look at the world with fresh eyes and a curious mind?

Soul Circle is a safe and brave space, where we gather, connect, reflect, co-create, share our stories, and work through all of the beautiful messiness of being human. The circle is a sacred container where you can share as much or as little as you wish, knowing you’ll be heard with compassion, and anything we share in the circle stays in the circle.

Each circle will include a specific practice exploring the themes and energy of the season. This may include gentle movement, journalling, meditation, exploring sound, and connecting with nature.

Soul Circle welcomes anyone who is prepared to connect and engage with compassion, respect, openness, and empathy. We are open to people of all genders, gender non-conforming and gender expansive people (and anyone who doesn’t identify with any of these terms!), and people of all races, religions, and ages.

Soul Circle especially welcomes neurokinin, people with other disabilities, and anyone with access needs that are not catered for in other spirituality or well-being spaces. I am neurodivergent myself, and Soul Circle will always be a place where neurodiversity is celebrated.
