CASSIE ROWLAND

Hi, I’m Cassie.

Cassie Rowland (MUKCP, MBACP, BSc, MSc) - Adult Psychotherapist

Integrative Relational Approach

Sometimes life can be hard. Perhaps you notice that you are stuck in unhelpful ways that makes daily living a real challenge. Are you struggling to balance work, family or relationship pressures and feel stressed all the time? Have you been through a change and feel you should be able to cope with it and you’re not? Perhaps you feel you are failing or not good enough in some way and doubt yourself. Maybe you believe “you” are the “problem”. You maybe unsure as to what is going on for you, but you feel that something isn’t right. Whatever it is, it can be difficult to deal with on your own. I can provide a space for you and I to explore these issues together and enable you to move forward in your life.

In relation with you, I work in a relational, experiential, and creative way that is trauma-informed and is influenced by Gestalt Therapy, Attachment Theory and Neuroscience. I value uniqueness in all my clients and what they may bring to therapy. Everyone needs different things to help alleviate pain and distress. I see my clients as I do myself, not as “problems” but as human beings who can have experiences of, stress, low mood, difficulties in relationship with themselves and others; experiences of feeling trapped in the past, of loss and grief and navigating challenging life transitions.

You and I in connection can work together to raise awareness of what difficulties might be showing up in your life now and to support you to foster hope, choicefulness and flexibility that leads you to growth and change.

It can take real courage for you to consider therapy and find the right person. To facilitate this important choice, I welcome you to get in touch with me for a 20-minute free phone consultation so you and I can talk together and get a sense of your situation.  I can be contacted via phone, email or text message and I aim to respond to you within 48 hours.

Face to face sessions are then available at Space Therapies by appointment.

If you would like to know more and would like to talk further please contact Space.

About me

I am a warm, down to earth and engaging person that cares very much about supporting people that are struggling with their lives.

After nearly 10 years of experience working in the health and care industries, I made a career change into Psychotherapy and Counselling to be of value to others and work one to one with people to help them live with more ease and flexibility.

I have over four and a half years clinical experience seeing adult clients within local counselling services and supporting them through emotional distress, relationship issues, anxiety, loss and grief and trauma.

Alongside my private practice, I also have experience working as a Counselling and Psychotherapy tutor within education to develop the knowledge and skills of future therapists and offer training to organizations on a variety of counselling related topics.

I am available at Space Therapies by appointment only.
