MELITA PUPSAITE
Hi, I’m Melita.
Our bodies often carry experiences long after the mind is ready to let them go. You might notice this as tension in your body, feeling overwhelmed or easily triggered, or finding yourself returning to familiar emotional patterns even when you understand them.
Perhaps you’re moving through a loss, a life transition, or a quiet sense that something in your life feels out of balance. You may have already reflected deeply on your experiences, yet still feel that something inside remains unresolved.
I offer somatic therapy for adults experiencing emotional challenges, anxiety, depression, or trauma. My work combines Biodynamic psychotherapy and Biodynamic massage, gently bringing awareness to the connection between body and mind. In our sessions we explore your inner experiences through conversation and somatic practices such as body awareness, breath, gentle movement, and therapeutic touch. This work supports the body to soften, release held tension, and helps the nervous system find greater ease and balance.
At the heart of this work is a warm and respectful therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe to explore what is troubling you. Rather than trying to analyse or push through what you feel, we slow down and listen to what your body is communicating. The work unfolds gently and at your own pace, allowing meaningful and lasting change to emerge.
I am a Trainee Biodynamic Psychotherapist and Biodynamic Massage Therapist, trained at the London School of Biodynamic Psychotherapy, and currently completing the final stage of my clinical training. I am registered with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), an organisation recognised for its high professional and ethical standards.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. It’s natural to feel unsure or to have questions about the process. If you’re curious about this work or wondering whether it might be the right support for you, you are very welcome to get in touch.
